Teaching and Learning Delivery Modes in
Arts and Education Subjects
The project intends to research into the development of an innovative teaching and learning delivery model to better meet the needs of students who require additional learning support (mature age, NESB, part time, re-entry, repeating and established “at risk” students) by refining modes of TL delivery and testing a minimalist approach to pre-lecture reading requirements.
The project is based on an analysis of the three delivery modes: online WebCT, physical digital media, hard copy. Our working hypothesis is that each mode incurs media-specific advantages and disadvantages in terms of the efficacy of teaching and learning outcomes and user-friendliness.
